The Little Print Farm creates bright, modern, hand printed cards, inspired by life on the farm. Based in South Australia's Mid-North, the entire collection is screen printed by hand using eco-friendly ink, on 100% recycled paper.

HOW IT ALL BEGAN

I am naturally drawn to animals + bright colours! I have always chosen greeting cards that either represent myself or the people I am buying for. Since moving to the mid-north of South Australia in 2011, I naturally looked for cards relating to farm life. The only problem was, I could never find modern, farm inspired cards that contained ANY colour! All I could find was brown, brown + more brown. Yes it can be dusty out here, but I wanted to see bright colours, modern designs + cute animals. So, I decided to take matters into my own hands + started making my own. What started as a hobby + quietly sharing what I had made on social media, quickly became a little business with over 10 stockists!

 

THE SCREEN PRINTING PROCESS

All my creations are lovingly made from my home. I firstly hand draw a design + transfer it onto waterproof paper, that I then cut out to create a stencil. The stencil is attached to a screen + with the use of a squeegee, the ink is pushed through. I use this process for each individual item.

I view these creations as little works of art, no two the same, with perfect imperfections. Not only do you get to take home your own piece of art, but also a little piece of me.

 

ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY

I really want The Little Print Farm to be a sustainable brand. My aim is to limit the impact my products have on the environment + source all my products within Australia. I use a water based eco-friendly ink + 100% recycled paper. Each card comes with its own recycled envelope + every order is wrapped using sustainable packaging.
